Before you start
Contact your chosen licensed dispensary first, then bring your readable PT33 PDF and matching identification.
Confirm the document requirements
Individual dispensaries are responsible for their own identity, document and compliance checks. Ask what they need before travelling to the shop. A national prescription service does not remove those checks.
Describe the document you hold and ask whether a digital copy is sufficient for their process. Avoid sending identity or medical files to an unverified contact.
Keep these items ready
Save your PDF where you can find it easily. Before presenting it, make sure the complete document is readable, including its signature and prescription details.
- Your original doctor-signed PT33 PDF
- The passport or Thai ID matching the prescription
- The issuing clinicâs details, already on your document
- Your order reference if you need help from My Thai Doctor
If a shop asks for clarification
Ask which detail or document is missing, then contact support or the clinic as appropriate. Do not alter the PDF or assume a different shop will apply the same checks.
For medical instructions, consult the clinic. For an email-delivery problem or a personal-detail correction, My Thai Doctor support can help with the administrative process.
Keep the purpose of the document clear
Use the document only for your own prescribed medical treatment. It is not permission to share a prescription, ignore its treatment details or transport cannabis across borders.
The governmentâs tourist notice is linked below. Check official information when your plans involve travel or questions beyond the prescription service.
Sources & service details
Official sources explain the documentation framework. My Thai Doctorâs terms describe our price, eligibility and delivery commitments. Check the linked source dates and ask the clinic about your own prescription.
